FARRIER SERVICES
The farrier services offered by Ostler are specialized by workload and hoof/joint requirements. If your horse is receiving care based on one of our seasonal packages, they are already receiving barefoot trims. However, if your horse requires shoes, you must book a farrier service to satisfy those needs. All farrier services will satisfy the requirements of one horse for one season.
Jumping Shoes w/ Studs
$175/horse
Perfect for horses in training or competition in show jumping, hunter or eventing disciplines. Includes hoof survey, trim and shoe application.
Competitor Shoes
$150/horse
Perfect for horses in training or competition in most disciplines. Includes hoof survey, trim and shoe application.
Sliding Plates
$125/horse
Perfect for horses in training or competition for reining. Includes hoof survey, trim and shoe application.
Composite Shoes
$100/horse
A lightweight, supportive, joint-friendly shoe which is perfect for difficult hooves and can be used in case of various diagnoses.
Racing Shoes
$125/horse
Perfect for horses in training or competition for flat racing or steeplechasing. Includes hoof survey, trim and shoe application.
Youngster Trim
$75/horse
Perfect for foals, weanlings and yearlings who have not yet begun training. Includes hoof survey and trim.
Glue-On Shoes
$75/horse
Perfect for horses who do not have a strong healthy hoof wall to nail into, or retired/breeding horses who need a little support.
