Young Horse Programme

Don't have the time or energy to bring along a young horse? Going on hiatus? Hof von Haas offers a young horse development programme for show jumping only (no in-hand or other disciplines). HvH currently offers this training and showing combination service to horses aged 4-6. While in training, the horse will remain stabled with its owner/boarding facility, and ownership will be transferred to Odette for the duration of the programme. Basic vet/farrier care and feed/hay (if not boarded) is included. The owner of the horse is responsible for providing equipment and continuing to pay board if a horse is not stabled with the owner at their own facility. HvH will handle all entries into shows including covering entry fees. The horse's owner will receive 50% of show earnings.

This programme is priced (per horse) by the following criteria:

1 year (1 season) → $5,000

2 years (2 consecutive seasons) → $10,000

3 years (3 consecutive seasons) → $15,000

Junior Rider Development Programme

Are you a junior rider looking for international training and show experience? HvH offers Junior Riders (ages 14-18) the opportunity to train under Odette Haas and travel with the team to CHJA sanctioned and other shows across the world. Junior riders are provided with equipment, lodging, transportation and meals. Junior riders who enroll in the programme will be listed as the rider on one of the HvH show horses for the duration of their stay (1-10 seasons total).

NAMING RULES
Dutch Warmblood & All Other Warmbloods
Foal name may start with the first letter of the sire's name, or follow the breed registry's year/letter system

Trakehner
Foal name must start with the first letter of the dam's name

Crossbreeds
Foal name preferably starts with the first letter of the sire's name

German Riding Ponies
All colts must use the first letter of the sire. Fillies intended for breeding must use the first letter of the dam. Fillies not intended for breeding can use either the first letter of the sire or dam.

If you are looking to use an HvH brood and stud, the total cost of the stud and broodmare fees will be -50%.

New members (joined 30 days or less prior to breeding inquiry) receive 25% all broodmare and or stud fees. Cannot be combined with above discount.

Approved Thoroughbred and pony mares receive 25% discount when foal is registered as a the sire's warmblood breed or as a riding pony.

Hof von Haas is proud to offer a full roster of the highest caliber warmblood mares to outcross to your own stallion, or cross in-house with our own to produce your next show jumping, dressage, hunter or eventing prospect.

When using an HvH mare and and stallion, the foal must be branded with HvH.

All stud and brood fees are calculated based on points and lifetime earnings, titles, medallions/medals or other distinctions

All breedings are LFSN (live foal stands and nurses) when using HvH studs and/or broods

Private Treaty stallions are not yet offered to public service, but interested parties may inquire

Hof von Haas is proud to offer a new German Riding Pony breeding program as of 23.2. Hof von Haas currently observes the Westfalen USA German Riding Pony eligibility guidelines for determining acceptable crosses to produce a GRP.
